Ulsan City Recruiting Companies for "Women-Friendly Company Environment Improvement Support Project"
Application Period from May 12 to 30 with Relaxed Eligibility Criteria
Up to 5 Million Won Support for Improvements to Women's Rest Areas and Maternity Protection Facilities
Ulsan City is recruiting companies to participate in the "2025 Women-Friendly Company Environment Improvement Support Project" to create a work environment that promotes work-life balance for women and to expand female employment.
The city will select a total of 10 companies and provide up to 5 million won per company for environment improvement costs (up to 5.5 million won including a 10% self-contribution).
Supported items include maternity protection facilities such as women-only rest areas, nursing rooms, and women's restrooms, as well as the purchase of goods to improve the working environment and convenience for female employees.
Eligible applicants are companies located in Ulsan with between 5 and 300 regular employees, where the proportion of female employees is at least 20%, or where the proportion of female employees has increased by at least 10% compared to the previous year.
In particular, starting with this recruitment, the application criteria have been relaxed, and more companies are expected to participate.
Previously, only companies where the proportion of female employees was at least 20% and had increased by at least 10% compared to the previous year were eligible. However, to more broadly support the expansion of female employment and improvement of working environments in small and medium-sized enterprises, companies can now apply if they meet either one of these two criteria.
The application period is from May 12 to May 30, and applications can be submitted either by visiting the Ulsan Jungbu Saeroilagi Center (Seowon-gil, Jung-gu, Women’s Center) or by email.
Companies applying for the project will undergo on-site inspections and a review process before final selection.
