View original imageThe badge will be sold during the Yeongyang Wild Vegetable Food Festival, which will be held for three days from May 9 to May 11 in the area around Yeongyang County Office. All proceeds will be donated to support wildfire victims.
The badge, designed to be attached to lapels or bags, carries a heartfelt message expressing the hope for the restoration of Yeongyang's green mountains and fields. The Saemaul Association personally designed and produced the badge, adding to its significance.
Kim Jongtak, President of the Yeongyang County Saemaul Association, said, "We created this badge to give courage and hope to the residents who are going through difficult times," adding, "Just as new sprouts emerge from the ashes, I hope that the light of spring will return to Yeongyang."
Oh Dochang, the county governor, said, "I am grateful to the Yeongyang County Saemaul Association for their meaningful participation in donation activities, which have delivered a message of hope to all residents."
