So Ji-sub's Action Series "Gwangjang" to Premiere on Netflix Next Month
Heo Junho, Gong Myoung, Choo Youngwoo, and Ahn Kilkang Join the Cast
The action noir series "Gwangjang," starring actor So Ji-sub, will premiere next month. Netflix announced on the 9th that its original series "Gwangjang" will be released on the 6th of next month. The story follows Gijun (played by So Ji-sub), who retires from the world of organized crime after severing his Achilles tendon, but returns after 11 years to seek revenge for his brother's death. The series is based on the webtoon of the same name by writers Oh Sehyung and Kim Kyuntae.

The series is directed by Choi Seongeun, who previously helmed the action drama "Tong Memories." The cast includes So Ji-sub, presenting an action work for the first time in 13 years since "A Company Man" (2012), as well as Heo Junho, Gong Myoung, Choo Youngwoo, Ahn Kilkang, Lee Beomsoo, Jo Hancheol, Cha Seungwon, and Lee Junhyuk.
