Na Gwangguk, a member of the Jeonnam Provincial Assembly (Democratic Party of Korea, Muan 2), has once again demonstrated the effectiveness of local legislative policies by winning the "33rd Korea Legislative Award."
According to the Jeonnam Provincial Assembly on May 8, Na received the prestigious grand prize at the "33rd Korea Legislative Award" ceremony held at the Korea Press Center International Conference Hall on April 30.

View original imageAs the chair of the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts of the Jeonnam Provincial Assembly, Na played a key role in ensuring the adequacy and fairness of the provincial budget, comprehensively reviewing it to secure funding aimed at improving residents' quality of life and advancing regional development. This year, the Jeonnam provincial budget, including the first supplementary budget, amounts to 13.0809 trillion won. In particular, Na was highly praised for establishing a "resident participation governance system," which involves creating policies closely related to daily life?such as fostering the ceramics industry, building a breakfast support system, and promoting barefoot walking?in collaboration with local residents.
Previously, Na also ranked first nationwide in the local assembly member category at the "7th Governance Local Politics Award," further recognizing the excellence of his legislative activities.
Na stated, "It is a great honor to receive another major award following the Governance Local Politics Award," and added, "I will continue to work hard to develop effective policies that local residents can truly feel."
