The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ko Byungil, President of Gwangju Bank, along with executives and employees. The Gwangju Bank University Student Public Relations Ambassador program, which began in 2008, has consistently attracted strong interest from local university students as a leading external activity. This year, as in the previous year, the bank plans to continue the program by selecting 30 students from universities in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.
For about six months until October, the ambassadors will participate in a variety of activities, including Gwangju Bank's ESG social contribution initiatives, brand promotion, communication with the MZ generation, and new media content production. They are expected to play a key role in enhancing the value of the Gwangju Bank brand by adding youthful sensibility and creative ideas. The selected ambassadors will receive a stipend and team uniforms, and after completing their activities, outstanding teams and individuals will be chosen for additional awards.
Ko Byungil, President of Gwangju Bank, said, "I hope that the university student ambassadors, equipped with creativity and collaboration skills, will serve as a bridge between Gwangju Bank and the local community. I also hope that, as members of Gwangju Bank, they will participate in various activities with pride and experience significant personal growth during this time."
