Upbit Introduces New 'Coin Classification' Feature... Adds Sector and Ranking Tabs
Dunamu announced on May 8 that it has added a 'Coin Classification' feature to Upbit Lab, allowing users to view sectors and rankings directly on the exchange interface.
The 'Coin Classification' feature provides sector categorization and ranking information for virtual assets on the Upbit platform, making it easier for investors to access and understand relevant information.
First, the sector tab categorizes virtual assets supported by Upbit by industry group, displaying the overall trends within each sector. Users can compare and analyze the performance of assets in major sectors such as payment infrastructure, networks, stablecoins, and DEX. This feature also enables users to identify which sectors are performing strongly across the entire market, supporting decision-making based on industry trends.
The ranking tab expands upon the existing volume and price-based ranking information, significantly improving accessibility and convenience. Useful ranking data such as market capitalization, top gainers, top losers, and the fear and greed index can be checked directly on the exchange interface without navigating to a separate page, allowing users to respond quickly to market changes.
A Dunamu representative stated, "We have added the coin classification feature to Upbit Lab so that investors can more easily grasp overall market trends and analyze market conditions from multiple perspectives," adding, "We will continue to develop our services to support the establishment of information-based investment strategies, rather than blind investing."
Meanwhile, Upbit has made various efforts to reduce the information gap related to virtual asset investment. In April, it launched the digital asset integrated information platform 'Upbit Data Lab,' and at the end of last year, it added Market Insight to Upbit Lab.
