Gyeonggi Office of Education to Collaborate with New Zealand on Gyeonggi Future Education... Dispatches Official to Korean Education Center
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will dispatch a general administrative official with international capabilities to the Korean Education Center in New Zealand.
The Korean Education Center is an educational institution established abroad by the Minister of Education, in consultation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, to provide lifelong education for overseas Koreans and to conduct other educational activities.
The provincial office explained that it decided to dispatch an official after comprehensively reviewing the increasing demand for exchange and cooperation with overseas educational institutions in line with the Gyeonggi Future Education policy, as well as the ongoing need to vitalize international exchange and cooperation.
Through consultations with the Overseas Education Support Officer of the Ministry of Education and the Korean Education Center in New Zealand, the provincial office will dispatch one general administrative official to the Korean Education Center in New Zealand for a two-year term, starting July 1.
The dispatched official will carry out various educational administrative tasks, including fostering an international exchange culture through the globalization of Gyeonggi Future Education, promoting projects to activate international exchange based on Korean language education, and linking international exchange projects organized by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education.
