Chosun University Selected as Operating Institution for "AI·Digital 30+ Intensive Camp"
Chosun University announced on May 7 that it has been selected as the final operating institution for the "2025 Incumbent Worker AI·Digital (AID) 30+ Intensive Camp" organized by the Ministry of Education.
This project, which will run until December, is a government-funded lifelong learning program designed to help adult employees rapidly enhance their practical skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and digital fields in response to the digital transformation.
The Chosun University Lifelong Education Center plans to offer customized, hands-on training programs for employees in general administration, sales, and marketing positions, reflecting the characteristics of local industries and job demands.
The training will be conducted more than eight times for a total of over 240 employees, with sessions scheduled on weekday evenings and weekends to allow participants to join flexibly.
In addition, all graduates will receive a digital badge issued under the name of the president of Chosun University. This badge will be incorporated into a "micro-credential" system for accumulating learning records and can serve as a practical competency certification for career development, job transitions, and re-employment in the future.
Park Jaeyeon, head of the Chosun University Lifelong Education Center, stated, "This project will be a significant turning point in leading a digital-based lifelong education system," adding, "Through digital badges, LMS-based learning management, and a collaborative network with local companies, we will fulfill our responsibility as a leading university opening the AI era together with the local community."
