Appointment of Gregory Yep as New CEO of Food Business Division
Expectations for Strengthening Global Strategic Products and Overseas Expansion
On May 7, CJ CheilJedang announced that it has appointed Gregory Yep, head of the Food Research Institute, as the new CEO of its Food Business Division.
The newly appointed CEO, Gregory Yep, holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Johns Hopkins University and is a food industry expert with over 30 years of experience at global food and beverage companies such as McCormick and PepsiCo, as well as at the R&D center of IFF in the United States.
He joined CJ in October 2023 and has since served as the head of the Food Research Institute.
CJ CheilJedang expects that Yep's global expertise will be closely aligned with the company's initiatives to scale up Global Strategic Products (GSP), expand into new overseas territories, and discover future growth businesses. The company anticipates that he will provide strong momentum in executing future growth strategies as the head of the Food Business Division.
