The exploration, which took place on May 2, was attended by approximately 600 international students and 15 supervising professors.
This program was designed to give international students the opportunity to experience one of Korea's representative regional festivals, aiming to enhance both their understanding of local culture and their academic competencies. Participating students observed the planning and operation methods of the festival, studied on-site marketing strategies, and directly experienced examples of convergence between regional cultural content and the tourism and leisure industries, allowing them to connect theory with practical application.
A representative from the International Exchange Office stated, "This activity was highly meaningful in that it not only improved international students' adaptability to university life, but also provided practical learning opportunities for academic growth. We will continue to organize cultural and major-related experiential events in connection with the local community to support the communication skills, collaboration abilities, and leadership development of international students."
