Mungyeong City Successfully Hosts 103rd Children's Day Grand Festival, Inspiring Children's Dreams
Rich Family Participation Events Under the Theme "Unleash Your Dreams!"
On May 5, Mungyeong City in North Gyeongsang Province held the '2025 Mungyeong City Children's Day Grand Festival' at Yeongsin Forest to celebrate the 103rd Children's Day, offering a variety of programs for children and families to enjoy together.

View original imageThis year's event, themed 'Unleash Your Dreams!', featured a range of attractions and activities including experience booths, stage performances, and play zones. The event received an enthusiastic response from many families who visited the venue.
The festival began with a powerful performance by the wind ensemble of Mojun Elementary School, followed by a special performance by student Yoon Yunseo.

After the opening ceremony, there were opportunities for local children to showcase their talents, including a stage performance by student Jang Hyejin as a trot singer, as well as dance and band performances and a demonstration of Hapkido.
In one area of the festival grounds, a total of 32 experience and promotional booths were operated, including carnation making, garden candle making, 119 fire safety training, children's fingerprint registration, and fire truck and ambulance model making. These booths attracted a continuous stream of family participants.
Shin Hyunguk, mayor of Mungyeong City, said, "I hope today's event will be a time for children to nurture their dreams, and for families to share warm memories together. We will continue to provide various forms of support so that children can grow up healthy and happy."
