Seong Gi-hun Wakes Up in a Coffin... "Squid Game" Season 3 Teaser Trailer Unveiled
The Sound of a Newborn Baby's Cry Heard at the End
The teaser poster and trailer for "Squid Game" Season 3, set to be released next month, have been unveiled.
On May 6, Netflix posted a teaser trailer on its official YouTube channel with the caption, "The final game for 45.6 billion won begins." The video surpassed 200,000 views within just three hours of being uploaded.
The teaser trailer opens with Pink Guards entering the contestants' living quarters, carrying a coffin containing the body of an eliminated player, all set to lively music. Inside the coffin lies Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jungjae), his face covered in blood. When the lid is opened, he opens his eyes with a vacant expression.
Other participants randomly draw red or blue balls and encounter each other in a maze-like space. Police officer Jun-ho (Wi Hajoon) continues to track the game site, while Pink Guard Noeul (Park Gyuyoung) surveys the game area alone. At the end, the sound of a newborn baby crying raises questions about the fate of Junhee (Jo Yuri), who is pregnant.
