Korea Special Forces Veterans Association Donates Eco-Friendly Sterilizing Disinfectant to Haenam and Yeonggwang

View original imageThe Korea Special Forces Veterans Association announced on May 2 that its Haenam County Branch (headed by Oh Seontae) and Yeonggwang County Branch (headed by Choi Yoonjae) donated eco-friendly sterilizing disinfectant to local children's facilities, welfare centers, and nursing institutions in celebration of Children's Day.
The donation ceremonies were held separately at Haenam County Office and Yeonggwang County Office on the same day, with attendees including Oh Seontae, head of the Haenam County Branch; Choi Yoonjae, head of the Yeonggwang County Branch; and Lim Seongrok, advisor to the Korea Special Forces Veterans Association, among others. As part of a community service initiative, a total of 200 boxes of eco-friendly sterilizing disinfectant, valued at 5 million won, were delivered to each county with support from D&D Electronics Co., Ltd. The donated items will be distributed to children's facilities, welfare centers, and nursing institutions in the region.
Advisor Lim Seongrok stated, "We decided to deliver the donated items out of a desire to contribute, even in a small way, to the local community," adding, "We plan to continue sharing activities for vulnerable groups in the future."
