Busan Youth Comprehensive Support Center of Silla University Signs Business Agreement with Women's Emergency Hotline 1366 Busan Center
Busan Youth Comprehensive Support Center, operated by Silla University (President Namshik Heo), has signed a business agreement with the Busan Center of Women's Emergency Hotline 1366.

View original imageOn April 25, a signing ceremony for the business agreement was held at the Busan Youth Comprehensive Support Center, attended by Seonkyung Choi, Director of Busan Youth Comprehensive Support Center; Hyeyoung Lee, Director of Busan Temporary Youth Shelter (Fixed Type); Bokhee Kim, Director of Busan Temporary Youth Shelter (Mobile Type); Sunyoung Jeon, Director of Busan Male Short-Term Youth Shelter; Juhyun Jang, Director of Busan Youth Independence Support Center (Hybrid Type); Eunseon Jang, Director of School Violence Prevention and Recovery Coordination Center; Jubi Jeong, Director of Youth Sexual Culture Center; as well as Sugyeong Bae, Director of Women's Emergency Hotline 1366 Busan Center; Youngjin Kim, Counseling Team Leader; and counselors Seoyeon An and Hyewon Jeong.
On this day, the two organizations agreed to cooperate in establishing an integrated service system for the prevention and eradication of violence against women, as well as the protection and support of victims. Specifically, they will: promote projects related to the protection and support of female victims of violence; build networks and facilitate personnel exchanges for the protection and support of female victims; and exchange opinions and information to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation.
Sugyeong Bae, Director of Women's Emergency Hotline 1366 Busan Center, stated, "Various forms of harm caused by sexual exploitation and sexual violence against youth are on the rise. It is necessary to maintain continuous interest and effort so that youth can grow up safely, through the activation of networks and collaborative support among institutions."
Hyeyoung Lee, Director of Busan Temporary Youth Shelter (Fixed Type), said, "With this business agreement as an opportunity, the two organizations will actively cooperate to rescue, protect, and support youth who are experiencing difficulties in various parts of society. We will do our utmost to provide practical help to youth through mutual cooperation."
