View original imageThe Damyang Scholarship Foundation announced on May 2, 2025, that Mudeungsan Experience Farming Cooperative Corporation (CEO Kim Myungwoo) and Inwon Industry Co., Ltd. (CEOs Choi Chulwon and Sung Hyo In) each donated scholarships of 2 million won and 5 million won, respectively, to foster local talent.
Mudeungsan Experience Farming Cooperative Corporation, located in Goseo-myeon, processes agricultural products from Damyang and supplies them to local food stores within the county. The company has been dedicated to the development of local agriculture. To date, it has contributed a total of 6 million won in scholarships, supporting the cultivation of local talent.
Inwon Industry Co., Ltd., headquartered in Bongsan-myeon, is a construction-related company engaged in construction waste disposal, aggregate production, sorting and crushing, and asbestos removal. It is recognized as an outstanding company leading the revitalization of the local economy. In particular, CEO Choi Chulwon has shown consistent interest in Damyang since 2016 and has donated a cumulative total of 60 million won in scholarships to date, including this year.
Jung Chulwon, Chairman of the Damyang Scholarship Foundation, stated, "The scholarship fund, which embodies such valuable intentions, will be meaningfully used to help local talent grow into outstanding individuals."
