Park emphasized, "This is a critical election that determines the fate of the nation and its people. We must restore constitutional order and democracy and put an end to insurrection so that we can move forward into the future with that strength. To achieve this, an overwhelming change of government is necessary."
Kang Geum-sil, Chief Election Committee Chair, pointed out, "Supreme Court Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae ignored regulations and precedent, overturning the not-guilty verdict of the lower court with just two rounds of deliberation. This is an unprecedented situation in the history of the Supreme Court. It is an attempt by the Chief Justice to control the president elected in an election aimed at ending insurrection."

Kang further stated, "This cannot affect Lee's candidacy, election, or performance of duties. The Public Official Election Act only invalidates an election if a crime is committed in this presidential election; it does not affect judgments about the previous election. I hope the public will not be misled. What benefit is there for the people if Lee is excluded and harmed?"
