Guro District Mayor Jang Inhong Visits Key Project Sites to Accelerate Pledged Initiatives
Visiting Key Pledge and Priority Project Sites for On-Site Inspection and Review
From May 1 to May 2, Guro District Mayor Jang Inhong visited key project sites across the district to inspect the progress of major district initiatives and address current issues.
This site visit, attended by Mayor Jang, the head of the Planning and Budget Department, and heads of major project departments, included locations tied to local campaign pledges and priority projects, demonstrating the district's strong commitment to prompt problem-solving and project advancement.
On the morning of May 1, Mayor Jang visited the Garibong Old Market site to assess on-site conditions. The Garibong Old Market site has seen delays in the construction of a multi-purpose facility, leading residents to repeatedly request the establishment of a temporary residents-only parking lot to alleviate parking shortages.
Afterward, he moved to the Sindorim garage relocation site, where he received a progress report and exchanged views on future plans for the project.
That afternoon, he continued his field visits at pet facilities near Anyangcheon Gocheokgyo and Ogeumgyo. At this location, an Animal Welfare Support Center is scheduled to open in June.
He then visited, in succession, the Gocheok 1-dong Integrated Government Building, Gaebong 1-dong Eoullim Integrated Platform, Resource Circulation Center, and Mokgamgyo, listening to the opinions of responsible departments and discussing ways to expedite project implementation.
On the second day of site visits, May 2, he plans to tour, in order, the Hang-dong National Sports Center, Cheonwang Neighborhood Park, Guro Smart Farm Center, Cheonwang Fuel Cell Power Plant, and the Cheonwang Station Area Public Rental Housing Redevelopment site.
