Busan Gijang County to Provide Up to 1 Million Won in Jeonse Loan Interest Support for Multi-Child Households Without Homes
Gijang County in Busan is launching a program to support interest payments on jeonse (rental deposit) loans for multi-child households without homes, aiming to alleviate their housing cost burden. Applications for the program will be accepted until May 30.
This program provides interest support of up to 1.5% of the outstanding balance on jeonse loans, with a maximum limit of 1 million won, for households without homes that have three or more children under the age of 18 and whose income does not exceed 180% of the median income.
Eligible applicants are residents of Gijang County who received a jeonse loan from a financial institution before the announcement date (April 7, 2025) and meet the multi-child household criteria. However, those already receiving similar support, such as recipients of the Basic Livelihood Security Program or residents of public rental housing, are excluded from the program.
Applications can be submitted at the local Eup or Myeon Administrative Welfare Centers according to the applicant's address. Detailed information, including required documents, can be found in the notices section of the Gijang County Office website.
