Shinsegae Centum City Holds 'Little Shinsegae Fair' for Children's Day
37 Children's Brands Participate... Up to 30% Off
Up to 67% Discount... 'Lucky Package' Coupon Offered
Shinsegae Centum City is holding the 'Little Shinsegae Fair' in celebration of Children's Day, running through May 11.
Despite sluggish fashion demand in the first quarter of this year due to unstable weather, the children's category at Shinsegae Centum City recorded a robust 9% year-on-year growth. In response, the company aims to maintain this upward trend with a large-scale children's event.
This event, held at all locations, is designed to create special memories for children and provide practical shopping benefits for parents. In an era of high prices, the event brings together a variety of shopping benefits and experiential content in one place, allowing families to enjoy themselves without financial burden.
Expanding beyond previous events focused on children's apparel, this fair covers all categories for children and infants, including children's wear, infant products, and toys. A total of 37 brands are participating, offering discounts of up to 30%.
First, a variety of shopping benefits are available through the Shinsegae Department Store mobile app.
By downloading the limited-quantity 'Lucky Package' coupon from the app, customers can purchase special price items from up to 21 popular brands at discounts of up to 67% in-store.
Featured items include Black Yak Kids short-sleeve setup and sling bag, Orsite Moomin collaboration set of three, Micro Kickboard essential protective gear set, and French Cat short-sleeve top and bottom set. For customers who enable app push notifications, a Shinsegae Reward coupon worth 20,000 KRW is also provided when spending 200,000 KRW or more with a Shinsegae affiliated card.
There will also be a pop-up store for children.
From May 2 to 15, the Kids Stage on the 6th floor of the department store will feature 'Petit Atti,' an eco-friendly infant furniture brand. Premium products such as desks made from top-grade birch wood and chalkboards crafted from ceramics will be introduced. Limited-quantity gifts, such as birch rabbit objects and magic wands, will be offered based on purchase amounts.
In addition, various experiential events will take place throughout the department store, such as the Shinsegae mascot 'Poovilla Balloon' giveaway (for purchases over 30,000 KRW, limited to 50,000 units) and the 'Sweet Gift' event, where random boxes filled with treats like candy are distributed.
Sun Hyunwoo, head of fashion at Shinsegae Department Store, said, "In celebration of Family Month, we have prepared a variety of events to create happy memories for children and offer practical shopping benefits for parents," adding, "We aim to provide a special shopping space where the whole family can laugh and enjoy themselves together."
