Gyeongbuk Province Launches Major Promotional Event for SME Products on Seven Distribution Channels... Up to 10,000 KRW Discount Per Item
On May 1, the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government announced that it will hold a large-scale promotional event in collaboration with seven domestic online distribution channels?Coupang, Naver, 11st, Gmarket, LotteON, Korea Post Shopping, and Oasis?to expand sales channels for local SMEs and small business owners and to boost domestic consumption.
The Gyeongbuk Provincial Government will open a special exhibition hall for Gyeongbuk products with a "Family Month" concept within these seven distribution channels. The event will be promoted extensively from May 1 to May 31 through various exposures, including the main rolling pages of each channel.
In particular, around 500 local SMEs and small business owners will participate in this event, showcasing a variety of products such as food, baby and children’s goods, household and kitchen items, and beauty products. Discounts of up to 10,000 KRW per product will be offered.
The annual Gyeongbuk Sale Festa marketing support project includes not only this online special exhibition, but also events such as inviting distribution channels for on-boarding days, new product development, integrated packages (including online advertising, support for shopping mall and app content production), and fulfillment service provision.

Choi Youngsook, Director of Economic and Trade Affairs at the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government, stated, "We expect the Gyeongbuk Sale Festa support project to play a pivotal role in enhancing the marketing competitiveness of local SMEs and small business owners and revitalizing the local economy," adding, "We hope this project will provide practical benefits to participating companies and serve as an opportunity for sustainable growth."
