Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation (President Min Kyung Sun) launched the ESG Management Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) on the 29th and began full-scale activities. View original imageThis meeting was organized to incorporate sustainable ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values throughout the corporation and to establish a systematic management strategy. Discussions were held on the basic direction of ESG management, as well as on ways to identify actionable tasks tailored to the corporation's characteristics.
Going forward, the Committee will play a variety of roles, including establishing ESG implementation strategies for the corporation, monitoring their execution, and providing advice on major issues. Key agenda items will include environmental and social responsibility, transparent organizational management, and more. In particular, discussions will also cover ways to promote coexistence with the local community and to link with eco-friendly transportation policies.
The Committee is scheduled to meet regularly in the future and will continue to discuss and monitor ESG policies and implementation tasks. Through these efforts, the corporation aims to establish an effective ESG management system internally.
Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation expects that, with the Committee at its core, it will be able to realize sustainable transportation services and enhance its external credibility.
