Kyobo Securities to Hold Real Trading Competition for Overseas Futures and Options
Kyobo Securities announced on the 30th that it will be holding a real trading competition for overseas futures and options.
Anyone who holds an overseas derivatives account is eligible to participate in this competition. Applications can be submitted until May 26, and the competition will run for one month, from May 1 to May 30.
During the competition period, participants with the highest rates of return will be selected, and a total prize pool of 7 million won will be awarded. The participant with the highest return will receive 3 million won, the second place winner will receive 2 million won, the third place winner will receive 1 million won, and the fourth and fifth place winners will each receive 500,000 won.
Alongside the real trading competition, a trading fee discount event will also be held. New and dormant customers who apply for the event via phone will be eligible for a discounted fee of $0.79 per contract for overseas micro futures products. The discounted fee applies to a total of nine index and currency-related products listed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).
A Kyobo Securities representative stated, "We have prepared this opportunity to increase interest and understanding of the overseas futures market and to help participants gain real trading experience," adding, "We plan to continue offering a variety of investment experiences and benefits in the future."
