View original imageThe Gwangju FTA Trade Promotion Center, operated by the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced on April 28 that it had held the 'FTA KOREA Origin Management System Training' for executives and employees of local export companies.
The training session, which took place on the first floor conference room of the Chamber of Commerce on April 24, was attended by about 20 participants, including representatives from export companies in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions as well as related organizations. Kim Yonguk, an origin management specialist from Korea Trade Information & Communication, served as the instructor and delivered lectures focused on several topics: understanding the origin management system and preparations before use, understanding and creating basic data, uploading basic data and correcting errors, and determining origin and generating origin certification documents.
A representative from the Gwangju FTA Trade Promotion Center stated, "We expect that this training will enable companies to carry out related tasks more systematically and efficiently using the origin management system," and added, "We will continue to provide customized practical training that offers real benefits to local export companies."
Meanwhile, the Gwangju FTA Trade Promotion Center offers a variety of support programs free of charge, including consulting and interpretation/translation services in addition to training. Local companies facing difficulties with exports or utilizing FTAs can seek consultation at any time.
