The Gwangju Employers Federation announced on April 25 that it had successfully concluded the 1,683rd Friday Breakfast Forum, featuring a special lecture by knowledge ecologist Professor Yoo Youngman of Hanyang University, under the theme "There Is No Map for My Growth on Someone Else's Map of Success."
The Friday Breakfast Forum, held that day in the Convention Hall on the third floor of the Holiday Inn Gwangju Hotel, included a prologue where Professor Yoo lectured on topics such as "Pregnancy and Labor: Conatus Is Conceived," "Labor Pains and Birth: Do Not Just Follow the Rules, Develop Your Own Methods," and "Nurturing and Growth: Do Not Focus on Marketing, Focus on Branding." In the epilogue, he emphasized ideas such as "Do Not Follow, Admire the Pass," highlighting the importance of leadership within a learning community where participants gain insights together.
Yang Jinseok, Chairman of the Gwangju Employers Federation, stated, "In times of crisis such as the tariff war expected under the second Trump administration and the possibility of an early presidential election in Korea, it is important to maintain a creative approach to life." He added, "I hope this lecture will serve as a valuable branding opportunity that stimulates imagination and creativity through unconventional thinking and breaking away from fixed ideas."
