Cheonan Display Innovation Process Center Opens
Established within Chungnam Technopark
Responsible for technology testing and certification
Cheonan City in South Chungcheong Province announced on April 23 that it will open the Display Innovation Process Center.
This center is a national project with a total investment of 159.8 billion won, including 104.9 billion won from the national government and 54.9 billion won from local government funds. It consists of one basement floor and four above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 13,320 square meters.
The center will be responsible for technology development in the next-generation display industry, the establishment of performance testing and process facilities, as well as roles such as testing, certification, and workforce training.
Chungnam Technopark will operate the center and plans to provide demonstration and technical support to related companies and research institutions.
Meanwhile, the opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at Chungnam Technopark in Jiksan-eup on the afternoon of the same day.
