Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) announced on the 23rd that it had achieved the highest rating in the 2024 Public Institution Win-Win Growth Evaluation, which was organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The Public Institution Win-Win Growth Evaluation is a system that annually assesses public institutions' efforts toward mutual growth and cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in accordance with the Act on the Promotion of Collaborative Cooperation between Large Enterprises and SMEs. This year’s evaluation was conducted for a total of 134 public institutions and assessed them in five grades, reflecting each institution’s performance in promoting win-win growth and the satisfaction levels of their partner SMEs.

Key initiatives included: ▲supporting overseas market entry for regional leading SMEs, ▲expanding the supply price linkage system and reflecting increases in supply costs, and ▲expanding green finance and fostering an ecosystem through strengthened cooperation between large enterprises and SMEs.
Additionally, KOTEC was positively evaluated for expanding win-win growth activities that support the innovative growth of SMEs, such as spreading ESG finance through the issuance of green asset-backed securities for SMEs, establishing a public M&A platform, and creating an open technology innovation environment.
