Baekseok University Signs Industry-Academia Cooperation Agreement with Footwear Specialist Viner
Joint Operation of Employment and Entrepreneurship Programs
Baekseok University announced on April 21 that it had signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Viner, a footwear specialist company.
The signing ceremony was attended by Jang Taehyun, Chair of the University Innovation Committee at Baekseok University, Song Gisin, Executive Vice President, and Kim Wongil, CEO of Viner, among others.
Viner was established in 1994 under the name Antonio Footwear and has been dedicated to producing high-quality handmade shoes.
Under the agreement, the two institutions plan to cooperate in areas such as operating field training and internship programs, discovering and fostering outstanding talent, jointly running employment and entrepreneurship support programs, and exchanging personnel and information.
Jang Taehyun, Chair of the University Innovation Committee, stated, "Through this agreement, I hope to see not only the development of talent but also the creation of a mutually beneficial industry-academia cooperation model for both institutions."
