Gijang County Launches Nationwide Tourism Photo Contest... "Gijang's Hidden Charms"
Online Submission from June 3 to July 25
Gijang County (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on April 18 that it will hold the "2nd Gijang County Tourism Photo Contest" open to all citizens nationwide to discover and promote local tourist attractions.
This contest, now in its second year following last year's inaugural event, aims not only to uncover hidden and unique tourist destinations in Gijang, but also to highlight the appeal of existing attractions and revitalize local tourism.
The submission period runs from June 3 to July 25, and anyone interested in Gijang County or photography is eligible to participate.
Eligible entries are unpublished digital photos of tourist sites in Gijang County, taken personally after January 1, 2024. Individuals wishing to participate must submit their photo files online along with an application form via the county's official website.
The county will conduct a rigorous review of all submitted photos, select the winners, and announce the results on the official website. For further details regarding the contest, inquiries can be directed to the Gijang County Culture and Tourism Division.
