"'Kim Se-ui's Lawsuit' Tzuyang Refuses Investigation After 40 Minutes of Attendance... 'No Victim Protection'"
'10 million YouTuber' Jjuyang (real name Park Jeong-won) appeared at the police station in relation to the lawsuit against Kim Se-ui, CEO of Garosero Research Institute, but refused to be questioned after about 40 minutes.
Park appeared at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station as a complainant at around 8:47 a.m. on the 16th, but suddenly refused to be questioned and left at around 9:35 a.m.
Kim Tae-yeon, the legal representative of Jjuyang, told reporters, "It seemed that the police did not consider (Park) a victim at all, and there appeared to be no intention to protect the victim," adding, "She refused to be questioned today but is willing to be questioned again if necessary."
The police did not comment on the matter.
Earlier, Kim stated on his YouTube channel in July last year that "Jjuyang met her ex-boyfriend and former agency CEO in a client-hostess relationship at a nightlife establishment, and after that, she started mukbang (eating broadcast)," which led to Jjuyang filing a complaint against Kim for defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, as well as charges of threats and coercion.
