Imsil County to Hold 'Blood Donation Campaign' at County Office Plaza on the 17th
For Public Officials and Residents
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Imsil County in North Jeolla Province will hold a "Love Blood Donation" campaign at the county office plaza on the 17th.
According to the county on the 15th, this event has been organized to contribute to a stable blood supply and foster a culture of sharing love among public officials, as the current blood supply situation has worsened due to an increase in patients requiring transfusions and a decrease in donors caused by the low birth rate and aging society.

The county held the Love Blood Donation campaign four times last year and once in the first quarter of this year, and plans to continue conducting the campaign to ensure a stable blood supply.
Blood donation is available for those aged 16 and older, and participants must bring identification for verification. Donors will receive a health check through a blood test, a blood donation certificate, recognition of four hours of volunteer activity and continuous learning, and a small commemorative gift.
County Governor Sim Min said, "I hope this Love Blood Donation campaign will help prevent difficulties caused by blood supply shortages," adding, "Continued interest and participation from public officials and county residents are needed to prevent unfortunate situations where we cannot respond to emergencies due to a lack of blood."
