Jinju City Employees Deliver Donations to Support Gyeongnam Wildfire Victims
1,629 Employees Voluntarily Participate
To Be Delivered to Cities and Counties in Gyeongnam Affected by Wildfires
Jinju City in Gyeongnam Province announced on the 15th that its employees have delivered a special donation of 20,310,000 KRW, which was raised to support the recovery from wildfire damage in the Gyeongnam region, to the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
This donation was prepared through the voluntary participation of 1,629 employees from Jinju City Hall and will be delivered to cities and counties in Gyeongnam Province affected by wildfires, to be used for restoration work and support for residents who suffered damage.
Jinju Mayor Cho Gyu-il expressed, "I extend my deepest condolences to the disaster victims who lost their homes due to the unexpected wildfires," and added, "I hope that this donation, filled with the warm hearts of Jinju City public officials, will provide great comfort and hope." He continued, "The city will spare no effort in providing support so that residents in the affected areas can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, Jinju City plans to continue its efforts to support wildfire recovery and help disaster victims quickly regain their daily lives in the future.
