Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation Participates in Vietnam Tourism Expo... Focused Promotion of Gyeongbuk Tourism Resources
Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Organization (President Kim Namil) carried out promotional activities to attract Vietnamese tourists at the 2025 Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from the 10th to the 14th.
This travel fair is the largest international tourism event in Vietnam, with more than 40,000 tourism industry professionals and visitors participating each year.
Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation is participating in the Vietnam Tourism Expo to actively promote tourism resources in the Gyeongbuk region.
View original imageThe organization operated a Gyeongbuk tourism promotion booth under the themes of the 2025 APEC Summit and the Year of Visiting Gyeongbuk. At the Gyeongbuk promotion booth, they focused on promoting Gyeongbuk's abundant tourism resources to local travel industry professionals and consumers, including UNESCO heritage sites, K-drama filming locations, cherry blossom events, and more.
For general consumers, they conducted a Gyeongbuk tourism survey event and an SNS follow event to gauge local market trends, and attracted great interest and response by giving out souvenirs.
Lee Sanghun, Head of the Marketing Business Division at Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Organization, stated, "I hope that the 2025 VITM will serve as an opportunity for the Vietnamese market to regain its vitality," and added, "We will strengthen our promotional marketing to further showcase the attractive elements of Gyeongbuk in the Southeast Asian market, with a focus on Vietnam."
