Woori Bank Visits Marine Corps 2nd Division to Commemorate 40th Anniversary of Sisterhood Partnership
Delivery of 10 Million KRW in Consolation Funds
Woori Bank announced that on the 8th, it visited the Marine Corps 2nd Division (Division Commander Choi Young-gil), located at the front line of the western front, to hold a consolation event commemorating the 40th anniversary of their sisterhood alliance.
At the event, attended by key officials from both organizations including Division Commander Choi Young-gil and Woori Bank President Jeong Jin-wan, Woori Bank delivered 10 million KRW in consolation funds to improve the welfare of the soldiers and encouraged them.
Woori Bank and the Marine Corps 2nd Division established their sisterhood alliance in 1985. Since then, they have maintained a close bond by continuously holding commemorative events and consolation activities every year on the unit's founding day for 40 years.
