View original imageJung-gu District in Daejeon announced that at the expanded executive meeting held in the main conference room on the 9th, it delivered a donation of 62,980,000 KRW to the Daejeon Community Chest of Korea to support residents affected by wildfires in the Yeongnam region.
The donation was raised through a voluntary fundraising campaign held from March 25 to 30.
The funds will be used to support the livelihoods of wildfire victims in the Yeongnam region, restore their homes, and aid in disaster relief activities.
Kim Jesun, the head of Jung-gu District, said, "I sincerely thank everyone who has shown their warm hearts to help neighbors suffering from wildfire damage," and added, "We will do our utmost to support the affected residents so they can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
