Seoul Small and Medium Business Association Holds Inauguration Ceremony for 11th President
Collaboration and Innovation Strategies Among Seoul SMEs Discussed at Event
The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 9th that it held the 'Inauguration Ceremony of the 11th President of the Seoul Small and Medium Business Association' at the Small and Medium Business DMC Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
This event was organized to celebrate the inauguration of Park Jong-seok as the 11th President of the Seoul Small and Medium Business Association and to explore collaboration and innovation strategies among small and medium enterprises in the Seoul area. About 70 people attended the event, including Kim Jae-seop of the People Power Party, Jang Kyung-tae of the Democratic Party of Korea, chairpersons of small and medium business cooperatives in Seoul, and representatives of small and medium enterprises.
Park Jong-seok, President of the Seoul Small and Medium Business Association, emphasized, "The small and medium business cooperatives will strive to become a competent collaboration platform through joint responses in various fields such as joint purchasing and sales, storage and transportation, joint product development, as well as digital transformation (DX) and artificial intelligence transformation (AX)."

Meanwhile, in the Seoul area, a total of 92 small and medium business cooperatives are currently operating across various sectors, ranging from traditional manufacturing industries such as machinery, printing, and furniture to distribution and local markets like Gocheok and Siheung tool markets, Munjeong-dong Rodeo shopping district, and the recently spotlighted artificial intelligence (AI) industry.
