BNK Gyeongnam Bank Launches 'Hope Sharing Mutual Growth Finance' for Small Business Owners ... Totaling 33.5 Billion Won
Actively Practicing Mutual Growth Finance
Including Delinquency Interest Exemption
BNK Gyeongnam Bank is introducing various measures to support local small business owners who play a pivotal role in the regional economy.
As part of its commitment to mutually beneficial finance, BNK Gyeongnam Bank will launch the 'Small Business Hope Sharing Mutual Growth Finance' program starting from the 9th.
In particular, the operational limit for the Small Business Hope Sharing Mutual Growth Finance fund has been increased by 3.5 billion KRW compared to last year, bringing the total to 33.5 billion KRW.
This program is being implemented in partnership with local governments to swiftly provide funds to local small business owners struggling with declining sales due to the economic downturn, and to contribute to revitalizing the regional economy.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank plans to expand the Small Business Hope Sharing Mutual Growth Finance program this year to all 18 cities and counties in Gyeongnam Province and the entire Ulsan Metropolitan City, in addition to several local governments in Gyeongnam Province and Ulsan Metropolitan City that signed agreements last year, including Changwon, Gimhae, Jinju, Yangsan, Geoje, Miryang, and Hamyang.
The program targets small business owners with an annual income of 40 million KRW or less, and significantly eases loan requirements to provide unsecured and unguaranteed credit loans of up to 20 million KRW at low interest rates.
Small business owners wishing to apply for a credit loan can contact their local BNK Gyeongnam Bank branch in advance and then visit the branch.
Additionally, BNK Gyeongnam Bank will actively implement a delinquency interest exemption program to support the recovery and business stabilization of small business owners. Eligible customers are those who have business-related loans, and the program will be operated temporarily until December.
Applications can be submitted at branch counters, and if the normal interest on loans delinquent for more than three months is paid, the delinquency interest will be exempted. For more details, please contact any BNK Gyeongnam Bank branch or customer center.
Lee Kangwon, Head of Corporate Customer Department, stated, "In line with the management philosophy of the newly appointed CEO Kim Taehan, we are expanding the Small Business Hope Sharing Mutual Growth Finance program to provide practical support to local small business owners facing difficulties. In addition, we have decided to implement the delinquency interest exemption program to offer small business owners a chance to recover. We will continue to faithfully fulfill our social role as a regional bank and contribute to revitalizing the local economy through upgraded and diverse support systems for small business owners."
