'Terra' and 'Chamisul' Win Grand Prize for Two Consecutive Years
HiteJinro announced on the 8th that 'Terra' and 'Chamisul' each won the grand prize in the beer and soju categories, respectively, for two consecutive years at the '2025 New York Festival Korea National Brand Awards.' The '2025 New York Festival Korea National Brand Awards' is an event hosted by the New York Festival, one of the world's top three advertising festivals, which selects and honors the best brands in Korea.
'Terra' and 'Chamisul' received high evaluations in brand image power, quality competitiveness, global competitiveness, and favorability, scoring 75.48 and 77.89 points respectively on the National Brand Competitiveness Index (NCI).
Terra is a leading domestic beer brand that, under the concept of '100% pure malt' and '100% real carbonation,' achieved the milestone of selling 1 million boxes in the shortest period of 39 days after launch and surpassed 5.2 billion bottles sold in 6 years. HiteJinro stated, "In this award, Terra was mainly selected for gaining high consumer trust due to its excellent quality and taste," adding, "To celebrate its 6th anniversary this year, we have appointed actor Ji Chang-wook as the new brand model and plan to further strengthen the brand's momentum by expanding consumer touchpoints through the 'Terra Jump Up 2025' campaign."
Chamisul received positive evaluations for its presence as a global representative soju exported to over 80 countries worldwide and its innovative marketing activities targeting younger consumers.
