Korea Federation of SMEs Holds 2025 New Chairman Invitation Meeting
17 Newly Appointed Chairmen and Organization Heads Attend
The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 8th that it held the '2025 New Chairman Invitation Meeting.'
The meeting took place at the Korea Federation of SMEs building in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, with 17 attendees including Park Jang-seon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of Printing Information Industry Cooperatives, and other newly appointed chairmen and related organization heads. It was organized to strengthen communication by inviting newly elected chairmen and heads of SME-related organizations this year, and to enhance understanding of SME issues and cooperatives.
During the meeting, key SME issues such as the introduction of cooperative consultation request rights, improvement of the 52-hour workweek system, expansion of the application scope of the delivery payment linkage system, and globalization of SMEs were discussed.

Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, urged, "As leaders of cooperatives and organizations, please represent the industry and communicate the voices from the SME field to the Federation." He added, "Especially in difficult times, you must demonstrate leadership with a sense of responsibility to support the SME sector."
