Independence Hall Selects 11 Research Topics for Emerging Scholars Support
No Applicants for Research Related to Goha Song Jinwoo
The Independence Hall of Korea announced on the 7th that it has selected 11 research topics as a result of its call for proposals to support emerging researchers.
This program was established to promote the study of the history of the independence movement, among other objectives. Initially, the Independence Hall planned to select up to 13 research topics.
Specifically, up to 10 topics (each supported with 5 million KRW) were to be selected for general academic research, including studies related to Goha Song Jinwoo, and up to 3 topics (each supported with 2 million KRW) for master's thesis research.
A total of 25 applicants submitted proposals for general academic research, but since there were no topics related to Song Jinwoo, only 9 were selected. For master's thesis research, both applicants were selected.
The research period runs until November 28 of this year. Detailed information on the selected topics can be found in the announcement on the Independence Hall of Korea's website.
