Goryeong-gun Saemaeul Association Delivers 5 Million Won Donation for Wildfire Recovery
The Goryeong-gun Saemaeul Association (President Park Jungkyu) delivered a total of 5 million won in donations, with 1 million won each to five cities and counties?Andong, Uiseong, Cheongsong, Yeongyang, and Yeongdeok?on the 4th to support the recovery from wildfire damage in Gyeongsangbuk-do.
The Goryeong-gun Saemaeul family raised the donation with heartfelt sincerity and contributed it to support the swift recovery of the affected areas and to convey their sympathy to the victims.
The Goryeong-gun Saemaeul Association is engaged in various activities to improve community welfare and share warmth with neighbors in need, such as meal delivery for the elderly living alone, sharing kimchi of love, creating happy homes, traditional food-making for migrant women, and sharing clothes with foreign seasonal workers. The delivery of donations for wildfire recovery is also one of these sharing activities, demonstrating the association’s commitment to standing together in times of difficulty.
