Namyangju City Breaks Ground on Dasan Station Transfer Parking Lot Equipped with Parking and Commercial Facilities
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 3rd that it officially began construction for the Dasan Station transfer parking lot near Dasan-dong 5823-2 on the 26th of last month.

View original imageThis project was promoted to respond to the rapidly increasing traffic demand in Dasan-dong and to alleviate local parking difficulties and promote public transportation use by enhancing transfer convenience linked with the subway.
The city is proceeding with the project by investing a total project cost of approximately 43.9 billion KRW, including about 3.5 billion KRW for land acquisition, and is carrying out the development by entrusting Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) after purchasing the site.
The project site is about 2,000㎡, and the city plans to construct a reinforced concrete structure with a total floor area of approximately 16,206㎡, consisting of one basement floor and ten above-ground floors, aiming for completion in March 2027.
In particular, from the basement first floor to the second floor above ground will be neighborhood living facilities including commercial spaces, and from the third floor to the tenth floor above ground will be used as a public parking lot with a total of 308 parking spaces.

A Namyangju City official stated, “This project is one of the key tasks for expanding transportation infrastructure and creating a citizen-centered urban environment,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to improve citizen convenience and quality of life through systematic transportation policies linked with Dasan Station.”
