Dong-Eui University Selected for Innopolis Campus Support Project
Supporting Technology Startups and Talent Development
in National Strategic Technologies and Regional Specialized Industries
The Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Dong-Eui University (Director Kim Sunghee) was recently selected for the final round of the "2025 Innopolis Campus Support Project" conducted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Innopolis Foundation.
The "Innopolis Campus Support Project" is a program that supports technology startups and the growth and talent development of startup companies in national strategic technologies and regional specialized industries by utilizing the capabilities and human resources of universities.
With this selection, Dong-Eui University will receive 200 million KRW in project funding and, until March 2026, will collaborate with Dong-Eui University Technology Holdings, Busan Regional University Consortium Technology Holdings, and others to support the innovative growth of technology startup companies in the region.
In particular, the university plans to discover deep-tech-focused technology startup companies in specialized industries such as power semiconductors, biohealth, and AI manufacturing, and support the entire startup process through various programs including talent development, accelerating, and investment linkage.

Lim Geon, Director of the Dong-Eui University Technology Transfer Center, said, "Through this project selection, we will provide comprehensive support so that promising deep-tech startups in the region can grow into leading local companies," and added, "We will do our best to establish a virtuous cycle of venture startups and vitalize the regional startup ecosystem."
