Pyeongtaek Flower Outing
to Be Held from the 12th to the 16th
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '2025 Pyeongtaek Flower Outing' event for five days from the 12th to the 16th at the 'Pyeongtaek Agricultural Ecological Garden' in Suksong-ri, Oseong-myeon.
Started in 1996, this event is Pyeongtaek's representative flower festival. Various spring flowers such as tulips, daffodils, and rapeseed flowers will be exhibited at the event.
Programs that visitors can directly participate in and enjoy are also prepared. Representative programs include the opening ceremony performance, Garaetteok (rice cake) pulling using Pyeongtaek rice, pet plant cultivation experience, and a flower name guessing quiz contest.
Small animals such as rabbits and ornamental birds can also be viewed at the event site. The city plans to expand the installation of shade tents where visitors can rest for their convenience.
At the Agricultural Ecological Garden's Eoul Madang, booths promoting and selling local agricultural and livestock products and processed goods will be set up, and a food market will also be held. Detailed information can be found on the Pyeongtaek City website or the 'Pyeongtaek Yecheong' blog.
