LS Mtron to Recruit SMEs and Startups for Adoption of Agricultural Automation Systems

LS Mtron supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups through an open innovation approach.
LS Mtron, a specialized company in industrial machinery and advanced components under LS Group, announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting SMEs and startup companies for its open innovation collaboration project in partnership with the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency and the Jeonbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center until April 26.
This open innovation project supports SMEs and startups with ideas and technologies in business areas such as ▲robotics ▲agriculture platforms ▲smart farming and precision agriculture. The total project budget is 170 million KRW. Starting with the recruitment announcement in April, the process will include document screening, advancement, company evaluation, and proof of concept (PoC) operation, culminating in a performance presentation (demo day) in October. Applications can be submitted via email, and selected companies will receive up to 40 million KRW in support.
LS Mtron plans to promote PoC not only by providing demonstration funds for SMEs and startups but also by supporting ▲regional demonstration infrastructure (Eastern, Southern, Central Mega Centers) ▲matching with operational departments and providing research and development (R&D) infrastructure ▲offering office space and seminar venues. Through these processes, selected companies are expected to concretize and validate their ideas.
