Sunmoon University Selected as a Leading University for Global Talent Employment
Operation of Employment-Linked Program for International Students
Sunmoon University announced on the 2nd that it has been selected as the only university in Chungnam by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups for the ‘Global Talent Employment Leading University’ program.
Through this selection, Sunmoon University will operate customized employment-linked programs for approximately 60 international students.
The detailed programs include: ▲mandatory Korean language proficiency of TOPIK level 4 or higher ▲job training based on the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises ▲employment camps ▲company visits ▲job fairs, all aimed at achieving tangible results.
President Moon Sungje said, “We are providing close support throughout the entire process from education to employment and settlement to ensure the stable integration of international students,” and emphasized, “We will establish ourselves as a leading ‘Global Talent Employment University’ representing not only Chungnam but all of Korea.”
Meanwhile, this project was established to create a self-reliant ecosystem for international students. The total project budget is approximately 200 million KRW, including 150 million KRW in government funding and 50 million KRW from the university.
