Hampyeong County Governor Lee Sangik Gives Special Lecture at Senior College... "Communicating with Seniors"
Hampyeong County, Jeonnam, announced on the 2nd that County Governor Lee Sangik personally gave a special lecture at Hampyeong Senior College to strengthen communication with seniors.
The special lecture, held at the lecture hall of the Senior College operated by the Hampyeong County branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, was attended by about 50 seniors from Hampyeong Senior College. During the session, Governor Lee explained Hampyeong County's senior welfare policies aimed at improving the quality of life in old age and addressed local issues, while also listening to the various opinions of the seniors.
Hampyeong Senior College, operated by the Hampyeong County branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, will be held two to three times a month on Tuesdays until November. A variety of educational programs are provided, including a silver singing class, recreation, dementia prevention and health exercises, and field trips to advanced sites.
Governor Lee said, "I hope you will regain vitality in life through the diverse educational programs of Senior College," and added, "We will spare no effort to support seniors so they can continue learning in an even better environment."
