Operating Profit Down Due to Rising Costs and Labor Expenses
Ourhome surpassed 2 trillion won in sales last year, recording the highest sales ever. However, operating profit decreased by 6% due to rising costs.
Ourhome announced on the 2nd that its sales last year amounted to 2.244 trillion won, an increase of 13.1% compared to the previous year. This is the first time in the company's history that sales have exceeded 2 trillion won.
During the same period, operating profit decreased by 5.9% to 88.69728 billion won, and net profit fell by 21.7% to 70.7 billion won.
By division, the food and beverage division, which oversees group catering and dining-out businesses, recorded sales of 1.2126 trillion won and operating profit of 55.7 billion won. The food distribution division, which manages food ingredient distribution and home meal replacement (HMR) businesses, posted sales of 1.0314 trillion won and operating profit of 33 billion won.

An Ourhome official explained, "Thanks to the strong performance of the food ingredient distribution business, the food distribution division's sales increased by about 27% compared to the previous year, achieving record-high sales. However, operating profit slightly declined due to increased operating costs such as raw material prices and labor expenses."
