Ray Unveils 5D Technology at IDS 2025... "Presenting a New Paradigm in Dental Diagnosis"
RAY announced on the 2nd that it successfully concluded the world’s largest dental exhibition, the ‘2025 International Dental Show (IDS 2025),’ held in Cologne, Germany, from the 25th to the 29th of last month.
At IDS 2025, RAY showcased its ‘5D’ technology, which surpasses conventional 2D and 3D imaging.
Utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) segmentation, it can clearly visualize the fine structures of teeth and surrounding tissues. Designed to integrate RAYFace facial scan data, it enables simultaneous analysis of the patient’s facial shape and dental structure. This allows for more precise diagnosis and treatment planning in real time without complex preprocessing.
This technology helps medical professionals intuitively understand not only the patient’s oral condition but also the overall facial balance. It is characterized by a revolutionary improvement in diagnostic accuracy.
At the exhibition, RAY operated hands-on sessions where visitors could directly experience the ‘5D’ technology. More than 7,000 visitors participated in the sessions, using the AI-based CBCT system firsthand and experiencing the differentiated diagnostic experience enabled by the 5D technology.
A RAY representative said, “Participants were deeply impressed by the ability to analyze dental structures more precisely beyond existing 3D imaging,” adding, “They confirmed that faster and more accurate diagnoses are possible even in complex cases.”
Through its participation in IDS 2025, RAY introduced the ‘5D’ technology to dental professionals worldwide and established a stronger foothold in the global market.
