860 Operators of Academies, Private Lesson Centers, and Reading Rooms Attend Training
The Jeonnam Office of Education announced on the 31st that it held the '2025 Academy Establishment and Operator Training' at the Gwangyang Culture and Arts Center.
Approximately 860 people, including officials from the Jeonnam Academy Association and operators of academies, private lesson centers, and reading rooms in the Gwangyang area, attended this training. Participants discussed ways to enhance the professionalism of academy operations and to create a safe learning environment.

The Office of Education plans to continue offering training for about 9,500 academy founders, operators, instructors, and tutors throughout the year by touring major regions in the province such as Suncheon, Yeosu, and Muan. In addition, they will continue to support the qualitative growth and safe operation of private educational institutions in the future.
Superintendent Kim Daejung said, "Academies and private lesson centers are important educational partners that complement school education and support students' growth together," adding, "I hope this training will help respond effectively to the changing educational environment and provide practical assistance for safe and trustworthy academy operations."
