Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) will hold the 'Eco-friendly Sharing Garden Opening Ceremony' on the 5th of next month at Hyangrim Urban Agriculture Experience Center (10 a.m.) and Sanse Village (2 p.m.).

View original imageThis year, 1,534 people applied for the 270 eco-friendly sharing garden plots in Hyangrim Village and Sanse Village, recording a high competition rate of 9.1 to 1 based on general garden plots.
At this sharing garden opening ceremony, 50 urban agriculture experts will participate to distribute leafy vegetable seedlings, assorted seeds, and eco-friendly fertilizers to garden plot recipients, and conduct a mentoring program for garden experience to help even beginners farm easily. After the garden experience event, a tea gathering will be held where everyone drinks warm tea together, providing a peaceful healing time.
